Transportation

Welcome to the Harvard Public Schools' Transportation Website. Harvard Public Schools is committed to providing safe and efficient transportation services to its students. The policy of the Harvard School Committee is that students in grades K-6 who reside two miles or less from their school and all students in grades 7-12 will be charged a fee to ride the bus in accordance with Massachusetts General Law Chapter 71, Section 68. Fees are determined annually, and the fee for the 07/08 school year is $225.00 per student with a family cap of $600.00. Interested families may apply for a waiver of this fee. It is important to note that each family regardless of whether your child(ren) ride for free or not must file an application to ride the bus each year. This application process assists with determining route schedules prior to the commencement of the first day of school. If you have any questions, please contact Lisa Parker, Transportation Coordinator, at 978-456-4140, who will be happy to assist you with any transportation issues.
