The Harvard Teen Wellness Coalition is a broad-based community group which includes representatives from the school community, clergy, police, youth sports, the teen center, mental health professionals, and members of the community-at-large. All members of this group share a strong commitment to helping create the safest possible environment for our children.
Our first initiative is the Safe Homes Network, which is outlined in the letter linked below. Additionally, in the future we look to sponsor community forums and become a clearinghouse for resources for adolescents and their parents. It is our goal to help identify, and make available to community members, a wide range of resources which will support the raising of safe and healthy teens.
