Prerequisites: Recommendation of current science teacher
This course will run only if student enrollment and staff availability allows.
Forensics (Crime Scene Investigation)
In this course, students will learn the science of what goes on in a true “Crime Scene Investigation.”
Through readings, discussion, and activities, students will discover the methods used by forensics experts to solve crimes.
Evidence analysis techniques may include fingerprinting, DNA analysis, and fiber and chemical identification.
Course work will consist of class discussions, readings and questions, lab activities, and a research paper.
