Project 197 is the brainchild of Martha Brooks, and refers to the community outreach facet of her Digital Arts program at The Bromfield School. It was conceived as a way to give students in these courses real-life experiences with design projects supplied by residents of Harvard and surrounding communities. Other projects of Project 197 have included commercial web site designs, private architectural designs, business cards and brochures, posters for town and school events, and T-shirt designs for the Town of Harvard’s 4th of July celebration as well as The Massachusetts High School Drama Festival.
