These individual classes will help students achieve a higher level of mastery on their individual instruments or voice. The Bromfield Artist-in-Residence program is patterned after very successful similar programs at such schools as Wachusett Regional High School in Holden, Massachusetts and Algonquin Regional , in Northborough/Southborough, Massachusetts. The program provides individual and or small group musical instruction to students in the Harvard music programs, from Elementary to High School.
Teachers participating in this program will come from such places as: The New England Conservatory, Boston Conservatory, Berklee School of Music, Boston University, University of Massachusetts at Lowell, and Amherst and the Hartt School of Music, Hartford, Connecticut, as well as local teachers who live in the area.
The Bromfield Music Department will interview and select all private teachers involved in the program. The program is open to all students, grades 5-12 from the Bromfield and Elementary Schools.
